ABOUT

STEWARDSHIP

Eco e-waste is one of five organisations nationally who deliver television and computer recycling services under the government approved co-regulatory arrangements for the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme (NTCRS).

Established in 2011, the NTCRS gives Australian households and small business free access to industry funded collection and recycling services for computers, printers, computer parts, televisions, and peripheral equipment.

Eco e-waste have recently been placed in the privileged position of being included into the NTCRS Program. We are methodically and professionally working our way to having the most efficient collection, sorting and processing facilities in Australia.  We are looking for members to join with us and share our passion to deliver a service that drives improvements and environmentally responsible outcomes.

In conjunction with the NTCRS program we each year agree on a targeted tonnage for recycling. Using our network of trucks and fleet vehicles, we collect from many and varied collection points around the country, together with those member companies who have signed up with the government to formally participate in the scheme.  Our objective is to recycle over 90% of the material recovered.

Our workforce is highly trained and experienced, with our processes complying with Australian Standard AS/NZ 5377:2013 for the collection, storage, transportation and treatment of end-of-life electronics and electrical equipment.
